Kenneth Langone is the founder, Chairman, and CEO of Invemed Associates LLC, a New York Stock Exchange member firm engaged in investment banking and brokerage. He received a BA from Bucknell University and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Overseers of the Stern School, as well as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of New York University Medical School and a member of the Board of Trustees of New York University and its executive committee. From 1980 to 1996 he was a member of the Bucknell University Board of Trustees, where he served as Chairman of its nominating committee and its endowment committee and as a member of its executive committee. He is a cofounder of Home Depot, Inc., and has been a director and member of the executive committee of its board since it was founded in 1978. He also serves on the boards of Choicepoint, Inc.; General Electric; TRICON Global Restaurants; Unifi, Inc.; and the New York Stock Exchange. In addition to his business affiliations, he serves on the boards of the Cancer Research Fund of the Damon Runyon-Walter Winchell Foundation, the New York Philharmonic, the Children's Oncology Society (the Ronald McDonald House), and the Robin Hood Foundation.
